CREATIVITY MATTERS

We have created a fun and inspiring environment for clients to engage in creative activities that teach the benefit of using art to promote a healthy mind set.

Creative activities encourage Emotional Regulation by blending mindful crafts, gentle guidance within an inspiring calm environment.

Susan uses a wide variety of mediums to connect with each person:  Water colour and acrylic painting, mixed media collage, jewellery making, mosaics, stitching, journalling, drawing and mindful neurographic art.  If a client has a particular creative style they would like to explore, Susan is happy to create a program to meet their individual needs.

Creative Activities are available in an individual or small group setting and are a great way to promote social skills, develop flexible thinking and problem-solving skills while in a safe environment.  Creative Activities can be helpful for mindfulness, relaxation and general well-being.

Sessions are available for adults and children over 10 years old.

The Details:

Sessions for adults are typically planned for two hours.

Sessions for children aged 10-15years are for 1.5 hours.  Sessions range between $35 and $65 depending on the craft.

Create and connect fb (2).png

The Create and Connect peer group for carers is designed as a safe space for carers. We can come together to share our struggles, to share our experiences and to offer support and friendship while being creative and releasing all the positive endorphins into our body.
The short term goal of the group is to create a ‘tree jumper’ for the Warwick Jazz and Jumpers festival in July.  Primarily using wool, we’ll create a tree full of colour and life and hope. We’ll work together, each contributing within their comfort zone.
YOU DONT NEED TO BE CRAFTY TO JOIN THIS GROUP!

There are many opportunities to contribute requiring no previous craft skill.

No bookings required.

Cosplay

Bring your favourite character to life through cosplay!  Susan will walk you through the process of forming a costume for your character.  Learn to use EVA foam, various sculptural tools, a variety of glue techniques and sewing or pattern making.  Session will last for 2 hours each with a maximum of 3 participants.
